Tulkarm – Saba
On Saturday, the Zionist enemy forces began deploying their military vehicles in the main streets of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, setting up flying checkpoints and obstructing the movement of Palestinian citizens and vehicles.
Local sources reported to the Palestinian Information Center that the enemy army stopped a vehicle on the road leading to the Shweika neighborhood, north of Tulkarm, between Al-Ja’roun and Al-Mega roundabouts, and arrested a young man inside it.
The sources confirmed that the enemy’s checkpoints disrupted traffic, noting that the soldiers stopped dozens of vehicles, searched them, and meticulously inspected passengers’ IDs while firing sound bombs to terrorize civilians.
In a related context, the enemy forces set up another checkpoint on Nablus Street, opposite Tulkarm refugee camp, coinciding with the raid on the "Foul Al-Sham" restaurant, which has been repeatedly targeted in previous periods. Workers inside the restaurant were subjected to on-the-spot interrogations.
In Tulkarm camp, eyewitnesses reported that enemy forces raided several homes in the Al-Rabay’a neighborhood, destroying citizens’ property, while the camp remained empty of its residents, who had been forcibly displaced.
This escalation comes as the aggression against Tulkarm and its two refugee camps continues for the 69th consecutive day, amid an increasing pace of violations against civilians and property.
