Several districts within Ibb province held events to mark the launch of summer activities and courses under the unifying slogan "Knowledge and Jihad."
In Jablah district, an event attended by Province 's General Mobilization Officer Abdulfattah Ghallab, and Province undersecretary Dr. Ashraf al-Mutawakkl emphasized the critical need for collaborative efforts to ensure the success of these programs.
Dr. Al-Mutawakil highlighted the importance of utilizing the summer break for student enrichment, strengthening their capabilities, and enhancing their awareness and knowledge. He also noted the leadership and government's commitment to these courses as a collective responsibility in nurturing an informed generation.
Al-Makhader district also witnessed the launch of its summer programs. Shura Council member Abdo al-Shawish urged parents to enroll their children, emphasizing the courses as a valuable opportunity and platform for awareness, education, and creativity.
In the Ibb Rural District, an expanded meeting involving local authority leaders and executive office directors was convened to inaugurate the summer courses.
Province undersecretary Abdulrahman al-Zaki stressed the need for collective attention and effort from all stakeholders to ensure the success of these beneficial activities for young generations, families, and the community. He highlighted their role in strengthening connections to the Holy Quran, broadening students' perspectives, and developing their talents.
Al-Radmah district held its own inaugural event for the summer activities. Shura Council member Abdullah al-Farah called on organizers to overcome any obstacles and create a conducive environment for the courses' success, aiming to maximize the benefits for students.
He anticipated a significant increase in student enrollment this year, necessitating adequate preparation in terms of curricula and teaching staff.
Finally, Habish district launched its summer courses with a rhetorical and cultural event. Numerous speeches underscored the importance of these programs in providing students with knowledge and understanding, particularly in reciting the Holy Quran and protecting them from foreign cultures.
Speakers, including District Director Shawqi al-Tuwaiti, emphasized that the opposition to these courses by the nation's enemies and their agents is strong evidence of their vital role in preparing a generation grounded in the Quran and a strong faith-based identity.
