Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban inspected the progress of work, services, and projects at the 26 September Hospital Authority in Matna District, Sana'a Governorate.
Minister Shaiban, accompanied by the Director of the Governorate's Health Office, Dr. Khaled Al-Muntasir, and his deputy, Mujahid Al-Rumaim, reviewed the level of medical services provided to citizens.
They heard from the Authority's Chairman, Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Dhari, an explanation of the services provided by the Authority and the updates, particularly in the emergency departments, intensive care, hospitalization, laboratories, diagnostic tools, and outpatient clinics.
Minister Shaiban also reviewed the ongoing work on projects to rehabilitate the Malnutrition Treatment Center, and the restoration and rehabilitation of the Authority, an independent obstetric emergency center, and an independent maternity and childhood center.
The Minister of Health and Environment commended the efforts of the medical and administrative staff in providing healthcare to patients, despite the existing difficulties. He emphasized the Ministry's commitment to supporting the Authority and providing the necessary requirements to improve the level of health services.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between local authorities, the community, and hospital authorities and administrations in the governorates, and working to develop the health sector infrastructure through community partnerships, thus contributing to improving the quality of services.
