Ramallah - Saba:
The number of Palestinian female prisoners in Israeli enemy prisons has risen to 29.
In a statement issued Saturday, prisoner affairs institutions explained that the majority of the arrests were made under the pretext of "incitement" on social media or participating in national events. They emphasized that this policy aims to silence Palestinian voices and restrict freedom of expression.
Female prisoners face harsh living conditions amid ongoing restrictions, including daily violations and systematic repressive policies, including deliberate medical neglect and starvation.
Testimonies from released female prisoners revealed the serious violations they were subjected to in detention, ranging from psychological and physical torture, ill-treatment, and detention in inhumane conditions. This reflects a glimpse into the daily suffering of Palestinian female prisoners.
