Mahweet - Saba:

The local authority in Mahweet province on Saturday honored development leaders and individuals who contributed to the success of community initiatives in various fields.

During the honoring ceremony, Mahweet governor Hanin Qatina emphasized the importance of honoring outstanding individuals in various service and development fields.

He pointed out that this honoring comes within the framework of the commitment to encourage distinguished local and executive leaders to enhance the performance of local authority agencies. He praised the role of these leaders in supervising, monitoring, and exerting efforts to implement projects and activities and achieve their desired goals.

Governor Qatina urged intensified efforts to advance the development process and implement community initiatives that contribute to achieving self-sufficiency and improving service and development conditions.

For his part, General Mobilization Officer Esmail Sharaf Addin highlighted the need to raise community awareness of the importance of collaborative work in various aspects.

He pointed out that the honoring will contribute to improving performance in service, development, and mobilization fields, and enhancing the educational process, to raise a generation armed with knowledge, science, and a strong faith identity.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, distinguished leaders in development, academic, security, health, and education, as well as school principals in the districts, were honored with certificates of appreciation. The governor and the province's leaders were also honored with the Education Sector Shield in recognition of their continued support for the education sector.
