Gaza - Saba:
Eyewitnesses described the final moments before the Zionist enemy bombed the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip on Sunday as horrific and terrifying.
Eyewitnesses told al-Quds Press that the enemy army allowed only 20 minutes to evacuate the hospital of all patients, wounded, staff, and displaced persons before its aircraft bombed the reception, emergency, surgery, and central operating rooms. Extensive damage was inflicted on the internal medicine and blood labs, completely putting the hospital out of service.
They added that in the minutes following the Zionist enemy warning to bomb the hospital, enemy aircraft launched dozens of airstrikes in the vicinity of the hospital, sparking panic and fear among staff, patients, and the wounded, "to the point that some critical cases left the hospital crawling on their stomachs, due to the limited availability of beds and wheelchairs."
Witnesses confirmed that "dozens of elderly patients and kidney dialysis patients left the hospital on the shoulders of their companions, and some fell unconscious from the extreme fatigue and exhaustion they suffered during their displacement."
Videos published by various media outlets showed shrapnel from the bombing flying long distances, some reaching nearly 300 meters, indicating the size of the deadly bombs and missiles used by the Israeli army to bomb the hospital.
The Israeli enemy army committed a horrific massacre this Sunday morning by bombing Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (Baptist), the last functioning medical facility in Gaza Governorate, the largest governorate in the Strip.
The bombing rendered the hospital out of service after enemy aircraft leveled it to the ground, disregarding the fate of thousands of patients and wounded who were forcibly evacuated under the cover of darkness after its management received prior warning of the bombing.
The Israeli enemy bombing of al-Ahli Arab Hospital (Baptist) is part of the Israeli policies pursued during the current war, which seek to destroy the health sector in Gaza and render it inoperable. Throughout the months of war, the Baptist Hospital was subjected to bombing and destruction, including extensive damage to its departments.
However, the massacre that occurred on October 17, 2023, marked a turning point in exposing Zionist intentions. The enemy's air force bombed the hospital courtyard, killing more than 500 Palestinians and injuring thousands more with severe burns.
