Tehran - Saba:
The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday called on all governments, peoples, international organizations, human rights bodies and the Security Council to take decisive and immediate action to stop the ongoing genocide in occupied Palestine.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei condemned the escalation of Zionist attacks on various areas in Gaza and the West Bank
The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson referred to the UN Secretary-General's recent statements about the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, emphasizing that unarmed civilians in the Strip, especially children and women, as stated by the Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), are daily subjected to heavy shelling, widespread famine, disease, forced displacement, and in general face the risk of systematic extermination, as these acts are clearly committed with the intention of ethnic cleansing and elimination of the Palestinian people.
Baghaei emphasized that the Zionist entity deliberately targets and systematically kills aid workers and journalists, in an attempt to silence the voice of the suffering of the people of Gaza. However, the courage of Palestinian journalists and the increased presence of independent media outlets and activists around the world under the international "Stop the Genocide" campaign have contributed to a new wave of exposure of these crimes, as evidenced by massive popular demonstrations in various cities around the world to condemn the Zionists' crimes.
