The Zionist newspaper "Maariv" reported today, Wednesday, that the Air Force "is filling its ammunition depots, while the Americans are transporting the ammunition to Israel by air train."
The newspaper said that "the Air Force received, a few weeks ago, bombs capable of penetrating fortified bunkers, as well as heavy and semi-heavy bombs weighing one and a half tons, which arrived on board cargo ships."
"The US Air Force's airplane supplies consist mainly of JDAM systems, which are systems that turn dumb bombs into smart bombs."
A senior arms industry official said the shipments "arrived at the request of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, in order to fill the Air Force's emergency stores."
At the same time, "Israel has ordered various other types of bombs, missiles, and Nurim (thermobaric grenades) systems to prevent aircraft from being hit by anti-aircraft missiles, including shoulder-launched missiles."
