Foreign Minister Jamal Amer met on Monday with Deputy Chief of the General Staff – Head of the National Team in the Redeployment Coordination Committee, Major General Ali Hammoud Al-Mushaki.
During the meeting, Minister Amer and Major General Al-Mushaki emphasized the importance of the United Nations Mission to Support Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA) fulfilling its role in monitoring , documenting violations and crimes committed by the American aggression in Hodeida province, particularly the targeting of civilian facilities, including the ports of Hodeida, Salif, Ras Issa, and Hodeida Airport.
They stressed that targeting civilian facilities, such as the ports of Hodeida, Salif, and Ras Issa, constitutes a breach of the Stockholm Agreement.
Foreign Minister Amer and the Deputy Chief of the General Staff also agreed on the severe repercussions of the war crime committed by the American aggression, including the targeting of the Ras Issa oil terminal, which led to an oil spill threatening the marine environment in the Red Sea.
Minister Amer and Major General Al-Mushaki called on UNMHA to disclose to the international community the other party’s evasion of attending the Tripartite Committee meetings on redeployment since the beginning of 2020, in violation of the Stockholm Agreement.
