Gaza – Saba:
The Ministry of Health in Gaza condemned on Wednesday the Israeli enemy's targeting of al-Durrah Children's Hospital east of Gaza City on Wednesday, stressing that the bombing caused significant damage to the intensive care unit and the hospital's alternative energy system.
Dr. Munir al-Barsh, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said, "The enemy's attack on the Martyr Mohammed al-Durrah Hospital, one of Gaza City's most prominent health facilities, constitutes a new war crime and an escalation in the targeting of health facilities."
Al-Barsh indicated in press statements on Wednesday that "the targeting is part of the occupation's plans to displace the Palestinian people by destroying their health and vital facilities, which exacerbates the suffering of civilians, especially children, who are the most affected by the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip."
The Ministry of Health added that the enemy "has not only prevented the children of Gaza from receiving medicine and food, but is also continuing to deprive them of life," renewing its call for the relevant authorities to "provide protection for medical institutions and criminalize the enemy's practices against them."
On Tuesday, an Israeli enemy airstrike targeted alternative energy panels and the intensive care unit at al-Durra Children's Hospital in al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
