Beirut – SABA:
A report published by Lebanon’s Al-Manar TV on Tuesday revealed that nearly daily Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have continued unabated, reaching a total of 2,970 breaches as of the morning of Tuesday, April 22. According to official statistics, these include 1,488 land violations, 1,411 airspace incursions, and 71 maritime breaches.
These violations have occurred since the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy came into effect at dawn on November 27, 2024.
The report also stated that the number of victims has reached 147 martyrs, in addition to 343 wounded.
The violations took place both before and after visits to Lebanon by envoys from countries sponsoring the agreement, including American diplomatic and military delegations, two trips by U.S. Deputy Envoy to the Middle East Morgan Ortagus, and a visit by French Presidential Envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian.
Despite these diplomatic movements, the report noted that no pressure has been exerted on the Israeli entity to halt its aggressions and violations, withdraw from the five positions it still occupies inside Lebanese territory, or release Lebanese detainees.
Since the agreement took effect, Lebanon has upheld its commitment. The Lebanese Army, in line with its assigned responsibilities under the agreement, has even taken the initiative to investigate and arrest individuals involved in launching rockets toward occupied Palestine, even when it was not directly responsible for their actions.
