Bethlehem - Saba:
Several Palestinian civilians, including a child, were injured with bruises and wounds on Wednesday after being assaulted by Zionist enemy forces during a raid on the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), local sources reported that an enemy military force stormed the town, deployed in several neighborhoods, and violently attacked a number of civilians, injuring them. Among the victims was 14-year-old Ahmed Mohammed Diriya, who sustained bruises across his body and head wounds.
In a related context, Israeli enemy forces tightened security measures on Wednesday evening at military checkpoints surrounding the city of Nablus.
WAFA reported that the enemy forces intensified restrictions at the checkpoints, closing some of them, including Orta and Al-Muraba’a to the south, Deir Sharaf, and Surra to the west. They detained several Palestinians, checked their IDs, and searched their vehicles, causing severe traffic disruptions.
Military crackdowns at checkpoints are a frequent occurrence, obstructing civilian movement and preventing access to houses and workplaces across other cities in the West Bank.
