Al Bayda - Saba:
During a meeting chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, the Tender Committee in Al Bayda Governorate approved several service and development projects as part of the 1447 AH plan.
The projects included the purchase of an X-ray machine for Al Thawra Hospital, a central morgue for the dead, and 50% support for community initiatives from local authorities and hospitals. Additional work was also approved for the 13.5 km long Riyam Road in Rada'a, at a cost of approximately 37 million riyals.
Other projects include the purchase of a solar energy system for a water project in Al Malajim District, the expansion and leveling of Al Qaqa'a Road in Al Suwadiyah, and the paving of the streets of Awain City in Al Suwadiyah, at a cost of 47.64 million riyals, with local and community contributions.
The automated financial system project for public health laboratories was also approved. The project also included the repair of the Al-Mashra'a-Al-Dhahirah-Al-Farawi road at a cost of 17 million riyals. Road equipment, including a Volvo dump truck and Atlas Capco air compressors, was also purchased at a total cost of approximately 294,000 Saudi riyals.
A number of projects were referred to the technical committee for further study. The governor emphasized the importance of implementing projects according to the specified priorities and timelines, and improving services to alleviate citizens' suffering.
