Gaza – Saba:
The High Committee of Exiled Freed Palestinian Prisoners in Cairo affirmed that resistance remains the only viable approach to achieving the freedom of prisoners and restoring the dignity of the Palestinian people.
In a statement, the freed prisoners firmly rejected any defamation or questioning of the legitimacy of the resistance, emphasizing their unwavering commitment to it.
The committee expressed deep gratitude to all those who contributed to the recent achievements, reiterating that Israeli captives should only be exchanged for the freedom of Palestinian detainees in occupation prisons, calling it the only fair and just exchange.
They hailed the recent success in liberating a group of prisoners, including leaders of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, and assured that freedom for the rest of the prisoners is inevitable, asserting that the sun of liberty will eventually rise.
The statement also expressed dismay over the offensive language reportedly used during a recent Palestinian Central Council meeting, stressing that such divisive rhetoric is inappropriate at a time that demands unity and collective struggle.
Finally, the committee underscored that national unity must be the foundation of any Palestinian dialogue or meeting, warning against efforts to sow division and disunity.
