Qalqilia / Aghwar - Saba:
Israeli forces impeded the movement of Palestinian citizens around the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank on Sunday.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency, citing eyewitnesses, reported that Israeli forces set up a "flying" military checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Qalqilia and the entrance to the town of Habla (the tunnel).
These forces also set up a military checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilia, detained Palestinian vehicles, and checked their passenger ID cards, impeding the movement of citizens to and from the city.
In the Jordan Valley, Israeli forces tightened their military measures at the Hamra checkpoint on Sunday.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli forces are impeding the passage of vehicles heading to the Jordan Valley, causing traffic congestion.
The checkpoint has been subject to military reinforcements and repeated closures of Palestinian movement for two years.
