Oxfam's Humanitarian Coordinator Clemence Laguardat revealed on Sunday that Israel is using the worst forms of collective punishment against the population of Gaza by preventing the entry of humanitarian aid.

According to the Palestine Today News Agency, she reported that Israel is preventing aid from entering Gaza, while the organization has quantities of fuel and food stuck at the border and is unable to bring them in.

The coordinator called for a ceasefire, stressing that the current situation in Gaza cannot continue, otherwise we will witness a major catastrophe.

The coordinator said: "Britain continues to sell weapons to Israel despite knowing how they will be used."
