The activities commemorating the anniversary of the "Sarkha" (The Cry) against the arrogant powers for the year 1446 AH were launched on Tuesday in Ibb province under the title "Al-Sarkha: A Weapon & Stance."
During the event, Abdul Fattah Ghallab, the General Mobilization Officer in the province, emphasized the importance of reviving the memory of the Sarkha due to its profound significance, which established a pioneering movement whose echoes reached across the globe. The Sarkha, he noted, has been an effective weapon against the tyrants of the earth—America and Israel.
He described this anniversary as an occasion to renew loyalty and strengthen commitment to the Sarkha, which shook the thrones of the arrogant, broke the barriers of fear and silence, and was the spark ignited by the martyred leader during a time of widespread fear.
The General Mobilization Officer stressed the importance of instilling the values of the slogan to fortify the nation and restore its dignity and pride. He called for raising awareness about the significance of the Sarkha and exposing and confronting American-Zionist colonial schemes.
He urged all citizens to take active steps in defending their homeland, supporting Arab and Islamic causes, and countering conspiracies against the Palestinian cause and religious sanctities.
He affirmed that the Yemeni people's stance on Gaza stems from their adherence to their faith-based identity, and this position will not change no matter the crimes and massacres committed by the Americans in support of the Zionists.
For his part, cultural activist Mohammed Al-Jarmozi highlighted the importance of preserving the Sarkha, which has become a slogan for the free and oppressed around the world. He emphasized following the values for which the martyred leader sacrificed, as he raised this cry during a time of defeat and humiliation that plagued the nation, breaking the fear of America and Israel.
He pointed out that the slogan embodies the Qur'anic project of confronting tyrannical forces, led by America and the Zionist enemy, and is an urgent necessity after the state of submission that dominated Arab and Islamic countries, bending to global arrogance.
