Taiz – Saba:
The local authority in Taiz governorate strongly condemned the deadly attack carried out by Islah Party mercenaries, affiliated with the US-Saudi-led aggression coalition, which targeted al-Arsoum in al-Hashmah area al-Taezeyah district, with a mortar shell, killing five children.
In a statement, the authority described the shelling as a heinous crime and part of a series of repeated violations against civilians in the governorate. The statement denounced the targeting of children as a reflection of the mercenaries’ moral collapse and disregard for international humanitarian principles.
It affirmed that such crimes will not go unpunished and stressed that those responsible will be held accountable both in this life and the hereafter.
Taiz local authority held Islah mercenaries fully responsible, legally and morally, and called on international human rights and humanitarian organizations to urgently condemn the crime and work to ensure justice for the victims.
