Ramallah - Saba:
At dawn on Monday, Zionist settlers renewed their attack on the Ein Samia water wells, east of the town of Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the Quds District Water Authority reported that the settlers stormed the well area. They caused extensive damage to the equipment, leading to a loss of communication and control.
Last Sunday, settlers stormed the same area, vandalizing surveillance cameras installed on the station walls, and destroying and stealing the gate of one of the stations.
These wells are a vital and essential source of water supply to dozens of villages and communities, amid increasing settler attacks on them.
The Quds Water Authority warned of the disastrous consequences of these repeated attacks, which directly threaten the continued water supply to communities.
In the same context, settlers released their livestock among the homes of citizens in the Al-Auja Waterfall area, north of Jericho, on Monday morning.
The Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights explained that the herds of livestock roamed between homes and farms, causing damage to crops and infrastructure and raising a state of anxiety among residents, especially children.
The organization's general supervisor indicated that this incident is part of a series of ongoing violations aimed at pressuring the residents of the area and pushing them to leave. leaving their lands.
He explained that this comes within the framework of an ongoing settlement expansion policy in the Palestinian Jordan Valley, which is under full Israeli control.
He emphasized that the continuation of these practices poses a direct threat to the stability of the population centers in the Jordan Valley and reflects a systematic escalation against the Palestinians there.
He emphasized the need for immediate action by the relevant authorities to curb these violations, ensure the protection of the residents, and enable them to remain on their lands with dignity and security.
