Raymah - Saba:
The local authority and the General Mobilization Department in Al-Jabin District, Raymah province, organized a cultural seminar on Thursday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) under the slogan "Insight and Jihad."
The seminar, attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the province, Hassan Al-Amri, reviewed three key themes: the life and virtues of Imam Zaid, the lessons learned from his revolution and its objectives, and the contents of his message addressed to scholars.
In the first session, Muhammad Al-Nahari, the General Mobilization official in the governorate, highlighted Imam Zaid’s upbringing, his strong faith, piety, and deep connection with the Holy Quran, earning him the title "Ally of the Quran."
He emphasized that Imam Zaid represents a model for cultural revival within the nation and correcting misconceptions, urging people to follow the path of this revolutionary Imam in both his approach and morals, and to take action for the sake of God while upholding responsibility toward religion and the nation.
In the second session, Radwan Al-Hadidi, the mobilization official in the district, discussed the historical context of Imam Zaid’s movement and the objectives of his revolution in raising awareness and breaking the stagnation and subjugation that tyrants sought to impose on the nation.
He warned of the dangers of lack of awareness, which facilitates the deception and misguidance of society, making it easier for oppressors to dominate. He called for drawing lessons from Imam Zaid’s revolution in correcting misconceptions, reviving the nation, and confronting tyranny regardless of circumstances.
The third session, presented by cultural activist Muhammad Fadil, focused on Imam Zaid’s message to scholars, explaining that it was based on a thorough analysis of reality and represented an enlightening, reformist intellectual project rooted in deep insight and conviction.
