Hebron - Saba:
A Palestinian was killed and others were injured on Thursday evening by settlers' gunfire in Hebron in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of citizen Mohammed Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Hour (48 years old) and the critical injury of another citizen by settlers' gunfire in Surif, northwest of Hebron.
In a statement, the Red Crescent reported that its teams dealt with two injuries—one involving a 42-year-old man who was shot in the neck with live ammunition and transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition before succumbing to his wounds, and another involving a 40-year-old man who was shot in the abdomen during the settlers' attack on the town of Surif.
The Red Crescent also stated that its teams in Hebron treated two other injuries resulting from settlers assaulting two individuals in Surif.
Settlers launched an attack on citizens in the Wadi Al-Watawat area of Surif and set fire to Palestinian-owned lands in the region.
In a related context, settlers stole agricultural equipment in the town of Kafr Malik on Thursday, while others transported mobile homes to the vicinity of an illegal outpost established on lands belonging to the town of Sinjil. A third group attempted to attack houses on the outskirts of Jaljulia in the Ramallah governorate.
Eyewitnesses reported that a number of settlers used a crane to dismantle and steal iron bars and frames that formed the structures of plastic greenhouses used for agriculture by citizens in Ein Samia, east of Kafr Malik.
Meanwhile, residents of Sinjil observed three trucks carrying mobile houses heading toward the Al-Magharibat area north of the town, where the illegal "Givat Haroeh" outpost is being constructed.
In another incident, local residents confronted a group of settlers who attempted to attack houses on the outskirts of Jaljulia, north of Ramallah.
