Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Tuesday that Iran is prepared for "any Israeli military action," emphasizing that "our forces are ready to strike deep into Israel once again."
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Pezeshkian said, "Israel has dealt us strong blows, and we have struck deep into its territory with equal force, but it conceals its losses."
He added, "Israel sought to change Iran, dismantle it, and eliminate it through chaos and targeting the system, but it failed."
"We do not want war, nor do we assume that the ceasefire is final, but we will defend ourselves forcefully," he continued. "Israel avoids any discussion of the success of our missile strikes, but its request for a ceasefire speaks volumes."
Pezeshkian affirmed, "Iran has not and will not surrender—this is clear to everyone—but we believe in diplomacy and dialogue."
He noted, "Never before have regional countries supported Iran as they did during the recent war."
Regarding the nuclear issue, he stated, "We completely reject the possession of nuclear weapons—this is our political, religious, humanitarian, and strategic stance."
He added, "Uranium enrichment on our soil will continue in the future within the framework of international laws."
The president stressed that "any future negotiations must follow a win-win logic, and we will not accept threats or dictates."
He remarked, "Trump says Iran should not have nuclear weapons, and we agree with that."
However, he added, "The claim that our nuclear program is over is an illusion, as our nuclear capabilities lie in the minds of our scientists, not just in facilities."
Pezeshkian also expressed Iran’s full readiness "to formulate a concept of shared collective security with our Arab neighbors and other countries in the region."
