Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi praised the significant role played by the national media system in its ongoing confrontation against the US-Saudi-Emirati-Zionist aggression coalition and in supporting the Palestinian cause and the people of Gaza.
During his meeting today with Minister of Information Hashim Sharaf Al-Din, Al-Rahwi commended the efforts of the national media in countering the media empires of the aggression coalition and its mouthpieces among mercenaries and traitors, in addition to its enlightening and educational role in society.
He stressed that the state’s leadership and institutions hold in high regard all steadfast journalists who have continued working in their media institutions throughout the years of war and blockade. He also noted the noticeable development in the Ministry’s performance and activity over the past year, highlighting its dynamic coverage of events and activities taking place in the capital Sana’a and other provinces.
The meeting discussed the current state of the Ministry and its affiliated media institutions, along with ways to enhance their vital role. It addressed the challenges they face and methods to overcome them to further strengthen their effectiveness and ability to fulfill their national, educational, and awareness-raising mission across all segments of society.
Minister Sharaf Al-Din reviewed the current status of the Ministry and official media institutions, outlining the major challenges they encounter and the mechanisms for addressing them. He emphasized the critical role of government support in advancing the Ministry’s efforts and implementing development programs.
