The Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shayban, discussed today with the Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Mahdi, cooperation in facilitating the entry of health sector supplies, including equipment, devices, and medicines.
The meeting addressed joint efforts to enhance coordination and achieve the desired goals in streamlining the entry of medical equipment and devices.
During the meeting, the Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority affirmed cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Environment and the provision of customs facilitations. He also emphasized readiness to address various procedures to facilitate the entry of medical equipment and medicines for dialysis, praising the ministry's efforts to improve medical performance.
For his part, the Minister of Health and Environment commended the positive cooperation from the leadership of the authority and its commitment to facilitating procedures, which contributes to the smooth entry of medical devices and therapeutic medicines.
