Gaza – Saba:
The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Thursday that the Israeli enemy continues to block the entry of over 6,600 aid trucks into the Strip while keeping vital crossings closed, exacerbating the escalating humanitarian crisis.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the office reported that only 92 trucks entered Gaza on Wednesday, most of which were subjected to looting and theft amid deliberate security chaos created by the enemy to dismantle Palestinian society and undermine its resilience.
The office clarified that the aid allowed in so far does not exceed 14% of the expected quota, stressing that the Israeli enemy persists in blocking humanitarian assistance and obstructing the work of relief organizations amid an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
It reiterated that Gaza requires more than 600 trucks daily to meet the minimum needs of its approximately 2.4 million residents, as infrastructure has nearly collapsed due to ongoing aggression.
The Government Media Office held the Israeli enemy and its allies fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian catastrophe and called on the United Nations, Arab and Islamic nations, and the international community to take urgent and serious action to open crossings and ensure the unrestricted flow of humanitarian aid.
