The Local Council and Mobilization Department in Al-Wahda District of the Capital Sana’a held a preparatory meeting today to organize the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birth anniversary.
The meeting, chaired by Commander of Support and Reinforcement Brigades, Major General Dr. Qassem Al-Humran, and attended by District Director Sami Humaid, executive office directors, staff, and local leaders, reviewed the roles of executive offices, mobilization teams, and neighborhood leaders in raising awareness and organizing celebratory events and activities.
Participants emphasized the importance of public involvement in making the celebrations a success across neighborhoods, highlighting the need to reflect the love and reverence for the Prophet through decorations, public cleanliness campaigns, and community events promoting solidarity and compassion.
Al-Humran stressed that the Prophet’s birthday is an opportunity to reaffirm commitment to his morals and teachings, warning of external attempts to distort his legacy. He described the occasion as a unifying event for the Islamic nation, promoting values of dignity, pride, love, peace, and faith.
He called for widespread mobilization to honor the Prophet’s legacy, asserting that Yemenis have historically stood by the Prophet since the dawn of Islam and will continue to do so until the end of time.
