Moscow - Saba:
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems shot down 30 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.

The ministry said in a statement: "Last night, from 0:20 to 05:40 Moscow time, August 8, operational air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 30 Ukrainian drones."

The ministry added in its statement that "nine of these drones were shot down over Rostov Oblast, eight over Crimea, six over Saratov Oblast, five over Bryansk Oblast, and one each over Belgorod and Volgograd Oblasts."
