Gaza - Saba:
Ismail al-Thawabtah, Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, accused the "Israeli" enemy of obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid to well-known international organizations, with the aim of paralyzing their ability to carry out their relief missions, especially in light of its systematic targeting of the UNRWA system and the UN organizations operating in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Thawabtah said in a statement to the Palestinian Shehab News Agency that the Zionist entity is deliberately weakening any neutral party that enjoys the trust of the population and is seeking to replace it with alternatives that lack humanitarian principles. He emphasized that "food and medicine have become weapons in the enemy's war against civilians," as part of "engineering starvation and chaos."
He pointed out that the airdrops permitted by the enemy meet only 1% of needs and are used as a propaganda tool to cover up the comprehensive blockade and the closure of crossings. He noted that they are carried out without coordination and in dangerous areas, causing several massacres due to the rush to reach them.
Al-Thawabatah called for the permanent and safe opening of the crossings under transparent international and local supervision, support for humanitarian organizations operating in Gaza, and an end to misleading propaganda that whitewashes the enemy's crimes.
He also called for the establishment of a stable humanitarian corridor, an end to the policy of starvation, and holding the enemy accountable before international courts, considering what is happening a "war crime and a crime against humanity."
