China's total foreign exchange reserves reached $3.2922 trillion by the end of July, a decrease of $25.2 billion, or 0.76 percent, compared to the end of June.
The US dollar index rose last month, while global financial asset prices experienced ups and downs, influenced by factors such as macroeconomic data, monetary policies, and the economic outlook of major economies, Xinhua News Agency reported on Friday, citing the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
