Sa’ada - SABA:
A meeting was held today in Saada Governorate, chaired by Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad, to discuss the needs of residents in the Wald Ayash area of Haidan District for rural water projects.
The meeting, which included Deputy Governor Mohammed Baydan, Director of the Rural Water Projects Authority branch in the governorate Eng. Adel Shathan, Head of the Central Interventions Unit in the governorate Abdulrab Al-Qadhi, and representatives of ACTED, Islamic Relief, and DRC, reviewed the wells that have been drilled in the area by the Central Interventions Unit and the mechanism for completing the project.
Governor Awad and Deputy Governor Baydan stressed the importance of connecting the water network to the villages and subdistricts of Wld Ayash in cooperation with the Rural Water Projects Authority and the Central Interventions Unit.
They expressed readiness to provide all necessary facilities to deliver water to the area in order to alleviate the suffering of residents under the current circumstances facing the country.
