SANAA, Dec. 18 (Saba) - The Supreme Political Council member, Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, urged the Culture Ministry to take care handicrafts and back Yemeni craftsmen.

Al-Houthi urged the ministry to double its efforts to encourage society to preserve crafts and organize training and qualification courses for young people in the professional and artisan field.

During his visit to Heritage and Cultural Development Fund in Sanaa, Al-Houthi affirmed the importance of expediting to organize these courses to enable the young people to obtain occupations for providing financial income.

"The country needs to develop the young people's skills to reconstruct and extract its resources for restoring its civilization and strengthening  the Yemeni economy," he added.
