SANA'A, Mar. 23 (Saba) - Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Wednesday affirmed that the national media, which resisted the aggression coalition media with letter, word and idea, equals a lot in the honor battle that the Yemeni people have been waging for seven years.
During his participation in an event organized by Al-Masirah TV on the 10th launch anniversary, the Prime Minister said “The resistance national media, led by Al-Masirah TV channel, effectively led the battle of word in the face of the vast media empires created by Gulf and American money.”
He pointed out that the activity of Al-Masirah channel and the official government channels in Sana'a were another auxiliary front to the military front, with its professional resistance and credibility in conveying the truth to confront the major fallacies made by the enemies against Ansarullah movement and the revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
"Al-Masirah channel confronted all the fallacies directed against the strugglers who said no to injustice, and bravely and reverently stood in the side of the resistance that extended throughout the Arab and Islamic world in a rare exceptional case," he said.
He noted that there are leaders in the Arab region, including the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, "whose words are weighed by a sensitive scale, and when they speak, the Western capitalist media subject their words to analysis."
The Prime Minister saluted Al-Masirah channel on behalf of the government and official bodies, and all the sacrifices made by the channel.
For his part, the Minister of Information, Daifallah Al-Shami, praised the distinguished role of Al-Masirah channel in conveying the truth, reality and details with all credibility. He valued the efforts of the channel crews working in the field to convey the grievances of the Yemeni people and their victories.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Masirah Network, Mohammed Abdulsalam, confirmed through the video that the Al-Masirah channel was established to express the rights of the vulnerable and represented a microcosm at the time when the Yemeni people were suffering from attempts to silence their voice.
He pointed out that ten years have passed since the launch of Al-Masirah TV, a period full of important stations and events.
