SANA'A February 25. 2023 (Saba)- The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, revealed the main party behind the assassination of the martyr President Saleh Ali al-Samad on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Hodeida province.
In a speech on the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh al-Samad, the Revolution Leader accused America of being involved in the assassination of al-Samad. He said, "America is the one who set the Saudi target to target the martyr al-Samad as a primary goal, within its targeting of the important role that the martyr plays and employs all his capabilities, energies, and capabilities in it." And his positive influence in the popular, official circles, the home front, in serving his people, defending his country, and this is a point that we consider important to draw attention to.”
He pointed out that the targeting of the martyr al-Samad was motivated and directed by the Americans, which was confirmed through investigations, which led to a definite conclusion that the Americans repeatedly declared that one of the most important roles that they play directly in their aggression against Yemen is identifying targets, which Bombed, targeted, and operationally focused targets.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi emphasized that the American role is a supervisory role in the aggression against Yemen, and it is the supreme role, which plans, draws, directs, and commands, while the Saudi and Emirati role lies in implementation, as they are tools that implement what the Americans dictate and draw upon them.
The personality of the martyr Saleh al-Samad emerged as a seasoned military commander in the unjust war waged by the former regime against Sa'ada, and as a politician after assuming the presidency of the political bureau of Ansar Allah following the events of 2011 AD and his appointment to the position of presidential advisor in 2014 AD, and as a soldier after assigning the task of the armed forces to him, following the formation of the Supreme Political Council.
And selecting him as president of the council and commander-in-chief of the Yemeni armed forces.
The US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition focused on the martyr Saleh Al-Samad, after assuming the presidency of the Supreme Political Council in July 2016, due to his wisdom and skill in managing the country's affairs politically, economically, security and militarily.

The revolution leader says, "The Americans, behind him his regional tools, and his agents among the people of the country, hoped that by targeting the martyr al-Samad, he would have an effect that would break the will of the people, weaken their resolve, and prepare them to carry out operations on a broader level in the occupation of this country."
He added, "But the result was completely opposite, and when we recall that stage, we see how that crime occurred on the part of the aggression coalition, which targeted this great and dear Mujahid man, and how the impact was on the people's conscience, how was their interaction, and the extent of the impact of that on his cause." more, in his determination, repentance, and willingness to sacrifice.”
The calculations of the aggression coalition in the assassination of the martyr Al-Samad were wrong, and he did not realize the consequences of his crime, which he committed against a person who graduated from the Qur’anic march school, in which the martyr was one of its students and students who learned Qur’anic knowledge and culture from the martyr leader Hussein Al-Houthi, and what he possessed of cultural and political awareness and what God gave him Of intelligence, eloquence, wisdom, sobriety and human instinct.
From all of this, the follower realizes the extent of the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition’s hatred of the martyr Al-Samad, who reached the point of targeting his funeral ceremonies in the capital, Sana’a, to confuse the scene, interaction, presence, and the present popular momentum for his funeral and farewell.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi says, "It has reached the insolence of the aggression coalition, its human, moral and ethical bankruptcy, its brutality, criminality, tyranny, arrogance, and ugliness of its behavior. It targeted its funeral ceremony, with an air show, in an attempt to confuse and prevent the funeral ceremony, with air traffic over the capital, Sana'a, and what it carried out." raids and operations.
He added, "The popular momentum was great in the funeral ceremonies, and the interactive popular presence, which realizes that this martyr was martyred while defending the country, for the sake of God, adherence to the just cause, and serious action in confronting the enemies' campaigns, aggression, and escalation."
The revolution leader indicated that the enemies' efforts to break the will of the Yemeni people failed, not through the crime of targeting the martyr al-Samad, nor other brutal crimes by mass targeting Yemeni people in their social events, and their gatherings in markets, mosques, schools, and others.
The aggression coalition noted in the martyr al-Samad his official and popular movements and efforts, and the mobilization of the fronts, in addition to his direct relationship with the Yemeni people, which made him a target and a prey for its planes and the assassination of his national project to build the Yemeni state under the slogan "A hand that protects ... and a hand that builds."
In this context, the revolution leader summarized the aggression's goals behind the assassination of the martyr Al-Samad in three points, his endeavor to activate the official capabilities, in confronting the aggression , serving the people, and his strong relationship in the popular community, which he fully activates in the popular mobilization, within this basic priority, his superior ability in unifying the internal and national ranks, and bringing together currents with their various components.
He said, "The American comes with the titles of human rights, freedom and democracy when it seeks to target the people of a specific destination, while the Saudi regime presented itself as the leader of the coalition and at the executive level is the direct leader in the war and aggression against Yemen, and the Americans, British and Israelis have a supervisory role in that."
The martyr Saleh al-Sammad, who famously said in the face of the US ambassador to Yemen Gerald M. Feierstein at the time, "We will receive you on the daggers of our rifles." The Americans and the aggression coalition placed him at the top of the list of targets, due to his courage, strength, and responsibility.
The martyr al-Samad will remain a symbol of sacrifice, and steadfastness that he was, and the free martyrs of Yemen went on to do so and set out from the standpoint of my faith while they were credible and loyal, so that he would remember from his grievances and his testimony of generations, the grievance of the Yemeni people over the past years.
History will write and record in letters of light the biography of the martyr al-Samad, full of work, giving, achievement, sacrifice, and redemption for the sake of God, freedom, independence, sovereignty of Yemen, and service to the people.
