DOHA Jan 03. 2024 (Saba) -The head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, mourned on Tuesday Resistance leader and national figure, Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri, and al-Qassam Brigades leaders Samir Fandi and Azzam al-Aqra, along with a group of martyrs, following a "cowardly Israeli aggression" on the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
In a press release, Haniyeh said the Israeli occupation's assassination of al-Aarouri and his companions is an "outright terrorist act and a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty," as well as an expansion of the Israeli aggression.
He stressed that the Israeli occupation, whom he described as "Nazi", bears full responsibility for this heinous aggression.
The Hamas chief emphasized that martyr al-Arouri worked in all fields and arenas for the sake of Palestine, al-Quds, and the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque.
Elsewhere, Haniyeh underlined that a movement that sacrifices its leaders and founders as martyrs will never be defeated; instead, any such attacks only strengthen it and provide it with resilience and an unyielding determination.
