SANA'A April 05. 2024 (Saba) - Crowds of millions of Yemeni women from the Municipality of the Capital came out today,Friday, in the square south of the Military College in Rawda neighborhood to commemorate International Al-Quds Day.
Participants in the march carried the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, slogans of freedom and disavowal of the enemies of God, and banners that affirmed complete solidarity with the Palestinian people.
During the march, the Director of the Women’s Development Department and Coordinator of the Women’s Authority in the Secretariat, Ibtisam Al-Mahatwari, pointed out that commemorating International Al-Quds Day is an embodiment of the faith identity and the Yemeni people’s steadfast positions to support the Palestinians against the Israeli enemy entity, which continues to commit crimes, usurp the land of Palestine, and confiscate the rights of the Palestinian people.
While a statement issued by Al-Masirah announced its full readinessand to implement the directives of the wise leadership for any options it adopts to combat the enemies of God and humanity, stressing that the Palestinian issue is the nation’s first and fundamental issue and that the nation must protect and care for the sanctities and take the initiative to liberate them.
International Al-Quds Day was considered an important Islamic occasion, renewing the pledge and loyalty to God, His Messenger, and the blessed leadership to commit to supporting the Palestinian people, who for half a year have been facing the most insidious and dirtiest of all-out criminal, Zionist-American colonial war of genocide in Gaza and all of Palestine.
It blessed the heroic operations of the various Palestinian factions, and the Islamic resistance in Lebanon , Iraq, which disturbs the Zionists and Americans.
The statement also announced the continuation of general mobilization and armed popular mobilization in preparation for active participation with the Yemeni armed forces in fighting any battle, whether on land or at sea.
The statement stressed the importance of escalating the awareness and education campaign to boycott American , Israeli goods and the companies that support them, praising the popular and official interaction with the boycott campaign, which must turn into a continuous culture and not an instantaneous interaction.
It appreciated all the positions, activities and events in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and against the Zionist entity, once again calling on the entire world, especially the Arab and Islamic countries, to criminalize Zionism, comprehensively boycott the Zionist entity, and cancel all forms of normalization with it.
The statement condemned the Zionist crime of the barbaric attack on the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria, stressing that this attack violates all international norms and conventions.
