TEHRAN June 28. 2024 (Saba) - Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, spoke at the 40th commemoration ceremony for martyr Ibrahim Raisi and his fellow martyrs in Tehran, praising the Iranian people for their resilience and unity during recent challenges, which he described as an exemplary demonstration for the world.
According to Lebanon's al-Manar channel, Nasrallah emphasized the need to transform adversity into opportunity, stating, "Despite facing significant incidents and the loss of leaders, we have turned these threats into opportunities, fostering a renewal and revitalization."
Addressing the Iranian people directly, Nasrallah expressed solidarity on behalf of Hezbollah, the Lebanese people, and all resistance movements. He reiterated their unwavering support throughout the recent events, sharing in both hope and sorrow as they unfolded.
Nasrallah underscored Iran's steadfastness, calmness, and unity, noting that the massive funeral processions held across various cities sent a powerful message of the people's resilience and unwavering commitment.
"The enemies witnessed firsthand Iran's strength, coherence, and loyalty," Nasrallah remarked, highlighting the depth of insight and fidelity demonstrated by millions in attendance.
Sayyed Nasrallah further emphasized, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has demonstrated its capability to persevere, follow through, and prepare for upcoming presidential elections, presenting a sophisticated model for overcoming challenges and achieving victories."
He continued, expressing a prayerful wish, "May God grant success to the Iranian people, the true supporters of all oppressed worldwide, in electing the right leader who can fulfill their aspirations. The fate of the region's peoples, governments, and future hinges upon events in the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Nasrallah affirmed that Iran has maintained its normal course following recent events, stating, "While incidents like these can spark turmoil globally, Iran has emerged from this trial, setting an exemplary standard in overcoming challenges."
"We pray for God's guidance for the Iranian people, known for their sacrifice, compassion, and steadfastness, to elect a leader who will continue along this path," Nasrallah added, underscoring Iran's pivotal role in regional stability and resilience against colonial pressures.
Addressing the Iranian populace directly, he reiterated, "Your path, presence, and endurance are intertwined with the destinies of the entire region and its peoples."
Nasrallah concluded by affirming Iran's stance as a steadfast supporter of regional peoples and a formidable barrier against colonial ambitions, urging Iranians to remain resolute in their journey towards a brighter future.
