GAZA July 17. 2024 (Saba) - Five Palestinian civilians were killed and a number of others were wounded, on Wednesday afternoon, as a result of the Zionist enemy's shelling of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, and the city of Rafah.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that ambulance crews recovered the bodies of four martyrs from the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, and the occupation artillery targeted with their shells the roundabout of the return and the camps of Yabna and Al-Shaboura in the center of the city.
It pointed out that an elderly man was killed after the occupation shelled a house west of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, while the occupation vehicles fired towards the area of Al-Mughraqa, Al-Zahra and Al-Rashid Street north of the camp.
In a related context, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the occupation targeted at least eight schools during the last ten days, six of which belong to the agency.
The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since the seventh of October October 2023, resulting in the death of more than 38,713 citizens, the majority of whom were women and children, and the injury of more than 89,166 others, in an infinite toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
