TEHRAN July 28. 2024 (Saba) - The inauguration ceremony of the elected Iranian president, Masoud Pezeshkian, on Sunday, began under the patronage of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, at the Imam Khomeini (PBUH) Husseiniyah in Tehran.
The Iranian Tasnim News Agency reported that senior officials are participating in the ceremony held at the Imam Khomeini (PBUH) Husseiniyah in Tehran, and the decree of the people's elected president to assume the presidency of the republic is being ratified by the Supreme Leader based on Article 9 of Article 110 of the Constitution.
More than 2,500 civil and military officials, heads and professors of religious seminaries and universities, representatives of various professions, a group of martyrs' families, and ambassadors of foreign countries accredited to Tehran are participating in the ceremony.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on KHAMENEI.IR website, radio stations and TV channels of IRIB and its international channels.
