HIROSHIMA August 07. 2024 (Saba) - A ceremony commemorating the victims of the atomic bombings dropped by the United States on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II saw slogans of solidarity from Palestine.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, on Tuesday, the ceremony was held in the Peace Monument Park in Hiroshima, where Chinese citizens participating in it staged a demonstration in support of Palestine.
The demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and banners against the Zionist enemy.
On August 6, 1945, Hiroshima was bombed by a U.S. atomic bomb, killing 140,000 people.
Three days later, the United States dropped a second atomic bomb on Nagasaki, killing 70,000 people.
With American support, the Zionist enemy has been waging a brutal aggression on Gaza since the seventh of last October, which left more than 131,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than ten thousand missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
