DHAMAR August 19. 2024 (Saba) – The General Communications Corporation and General Postal Authority branches in Dhamar province on Monday held a cultural event to commemorate the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birth.
Province undersecretary Mahmoud al-Jubin emphasized the significance of the occasion as a moment to reflect on the Prophet's life, his struggle against tyranny, and the moral lessons he imparted.
Al-Jubin highlighted the birth of the Prophet as a pivotal moment for the entire Islamic nation, marking a clear distinction between good and evil.
Director of the General Telecommunications Corporation Eng. Foud al-Qawas noted that the celebration reflects the people's commitment to the Quranic approach and Islamic principles.
Al-Qawas underscored the joy associated with the Prophet's birthday, which unites Muslims worldwide in honoring the final Messenger.
The event also featured speeches by local leaders, including Ahmed Abdul Razzaq, Director of the Dhamar Post Office, who spoke about the deep connection Yemenis have with the Prophet and the importance of commemorating this significant religious occasion.
