TEHRAN August 23. 2024 (Saba) - Iranian security forces have arrested 14 ISIS terrorists across four provinces, according to a statement released by the Iranian Ministry of Security on Friday.
The statement, reported by Tasnim International News Agency, detailed that the arrests took place during a series of operations in the provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Fars, and Khuzestan.
These individuals, linked to the American-Zionist group known as "ISIS Khorasan," were apprehended under judicial orders.
The ministry revealed that the suspects had recently entered Iran illegally with plans to carry out terrorist activities.
Among those detained, seven were arrested in Fars province, with the remaining seven captured in Tehran, Alborz, and Khuzestan.
