GAZA August 23. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy army issued orders this evening, Friday, to evacuate residential areas and neighborhoods in the northern Gaza Strip, under the pretext of launching rockets from them.
A statement issued by the Zionist army said: "A call to all those present in Blocks: 967, 968, 969, 970, 971, 1738, 1739, 1740, 1746 and 1751 in the Al-Sultan, Al-Atatra, Al-Sayfa and Al-Karamah neighborhoods, and to evacuate them.
The army claimed that it was taking this measure against the backdrop of the continuous launching of rockets by the Hamas movement and the Palestinian factions from the aforementioned areas.
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, announced the shell of the cities of Ashdod , Ashkelon and the settlements of Gaza envelope today, Friday.
The air raid sirens sounded for the first time in more than two weeks in those areas, and the Israeli army announced the detection of two rockets launched from Gaza Strip, one of which was intercepted while the other fell in an open area without causing any injuries.
