NAZARETH - SABA : The former commander of the Gaza Division in the Zionist enemy army admitted that the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas won the ongoing war of extermination on the Gaza Strip since October 7.

The New York Times quoted Reserve General Gadi Shamni on Tuesday, as saying: "Israel is winning tactical confrontations with Hamas, but it is losing the war." He added: The Qassam Brigades "regained the cities a quarter of an hour after the Zionist army withdrew from them.

The American newspaper also quoted current and former Zionist security officials as believing that "it is unlikely that Hamas will be defeated in this war."

Regarding the tunnel system used by the Qassam Brigades in Gaza, the military official said: "Seizing and demolishing the tunnels is a very complex engineering project that may take years."
