SANA'A - SABA: Today, the Council of Ministers convened for its routine session, presided over by the Council's Chairman, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi.

The Council deliberated on the draft presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Jamal Amer, regarding the regulations that oversee the operations of the United Nations, its agencies, programs, funds, and international organizations within the Republic of Yemen.

Following the discussion, the Council has approved the implementation of rules that underscore the significance of adhering to the Yemeni Constitution by all United Nations and international entities active in Yemen. These rules mandate respect for the code of conduct and the unique aspects of Yemeni society, including customs and traditions. Additionally, it is stipulated that the accreditation of aid-supporting organizations must align with the country's immediate needs to address its emergency priorities, among other regulatory aspects of its operations.

The Council approved the draft presidential decree submitted by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani, to establish the Bakil Al-Sawad district in Amran governorate, a chapter from the Harf Sufyan district, and directed the completion of the legal procedures for issuing the decision.

The project included the administrative divisions of the directorate and the identification of the location of the endowment located in the Ghoul al-Faras area as the center of the directorate, as well as its administrative boundaries.

The Council reviewed the memorandum submitted by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Rowaishan, and the Ministry of Interior on the annual statistical analytical report of non-criminal accidents (traffic) for the year 1445 AH.

The report included the total number of traffic accidents during the past year, the size of material and human losses, the main causes of these accidents, as well as the proposed recommendations to reduce them.

The Council approved the attached recommendations, and stressed on all concerned and relevant authorities, especially transport, public and internal works, represented by the General Directorate of Traffic and the local authority in the Capital Municipality, to work to implement the recommendations and take the necessary additional measures to reduce these accidents.

The Cabinet reviewed the report of the Director of the Prime Minister's Office on the projects submitted by the ministries on their respective work priorities within the framework of their functions, prepared in accordance with the directives of the revolutionary leadership, the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council and the general program of the Government.
