TOKYO - (Saba): Japanese authorities have issued a tsunami warning for two islands, following an earthquake in the Pacific Ocean near Torishima Island.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said in a statement: ‘The initial magnitude of the earthquake was 5.9 on the Richter scale.
The Japanese authorities issued a warning of a possible tsunami that could reach a height of up to one meter, on the islands of Izu and Ogasawara.
