The Lebanese Army Command warned against the Zionist schemes and psychological warfare waged by the Zionist enemy forces in order to incite and sow discord among the Lebanese, calling for awareness and responsibility.
"The Zionist enemy continues to persist in its brutal attacks that include all Lebanese regions without distinction," said a statement issued by the LAF on Friday.
"These attacks are not limited to military operations only, but extend to the psychological warfare waged by the enemy with the aim of inciting and causing discord among the Lebanese by spreading rumors that would create tension between them; therefore, we must be alert to the enemy's plans , show awareness and responsibility," the LAF statement said.
In its statement, the LAF stressed that it seeks to "refute these hostile rumors, cut off the road to strife and prosecute those who spread them."
