Hamas leader Izzat al-Rishq stated that the proposed truces for a few days "are merely misleading and create confusion, as they do not include a cessation of aggression, withdrawal, or the return of the displaced."
Al-Rishq stated in a press release on Saturday, "We positively consider any proposals and ideas that ensure the end of aggression and the withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza."
He stated that Netanyahu is delaying to gain time and is using negotiations as a pretense for his ongoing hostility.
He pointed out that the game of role-playing between the Zionist enemy and the US administration continues in Lebanon, as it is in Gaza.
