Sana'a - Saba:
The National Centre for Meteorology and Early Warning has predicted rainfall in parts of several governorates, the formation of fog on mountainous heights, and relatively cold weather in seven governorates during the next 24 hours.
The centre said in its weather bulletin that sporadic rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are expected in parts of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Rima, Ibb, Taiz and the highlands and the Tihama Plain.
Light to moderate rain is also expected in parts of Sana'a, Dhamar, Dhama'a, Dhale'a, Lahij, Abyan, Shabwa, the eastern Gulf of Aden and the Socotra archipelago.
The centre indicated that fog and water fog may form on the mountainous heights of the governorates of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Rima, Al Mahwit and Hajjah.
The weather is likely to be relatively cold during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Ibb and Al-Dhaleh highlands.
The centre warned citizens against being in the valleys and torrential streams during and after the rains, and the low horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to rain or fog and low clouds.
He called on citizens, especially children, the elderly and workers during the night and early morning hours, to take the necessary precautions against the relatively cold weather.
