Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Dr. Abdulmumin Shuja’ al-Din held a meeting on Tuesday with the Chairman and members of the Constitutional, Legal, and Judicial Committee of the Shura Council.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Judicial Council, Judge Hashem Aqabat.
During the session, Judge Shuja’ al-Din welcomed the committee’s chairman and members, commending their efforts in preparing a comprehensive report that includes valuable insights and recommendations for the advancement of the judiciary.
The President of the Judicial Council highlighted the ongoing reform initiatives within the judiciary, emphasizing efforts to overhaul judicial and administrative procedures.
He also noted the strategic rotation and reassignment of judges across various courts, in line with a rational, planned judicial movement aimed at ensuring the prompt delivery of justice.
For his part, Chairman of the Shura Council’s Committee provided an overview of the report, outlining the proposals and suggestions that could play a key role in strengthening the justice system.
Al-Kebsi also underscored the importance of continued coordination between the Judicial Council and the Shura Council.
He stressed that such collaboration is crucial for enhancing the judiciary’s role, addressing the challenges it faces, and developing effective solutions that align with the common goal of achieving justice.
