Beirut - Saba:
United Nations Secretary-General spokesman Stephane Dujarric confirmed today, Tuesday, that the $426 million humanitarian appeal for Lebanon "has so far received only 80 million."
According to Al-Mayadeen, Dujarric appealed to countries to donate to meet the urgent humanitarian needs in Lebanon, in light of the ongoing Zionist aggression.
Dujarric said: "The international peacekeeping forces (UNIFIL) have informed us that a number of Lebanese towns on the border have been destroyed, making it difficult for residents to return to them," Dujarric said, if a ceasefire is reached.
The Zionist enemy continues its aggression against Lebanon, targeting various regions, and the total number of martyrs and wounded since the start of this aggression, until yesterday, Monday, reached 3002 martyrs and 13,492 wounded, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
